This is a neat stoneware with blue sponged and stencil barn design butter pat, butter chip or small butter dish.

The blue and grey or light brown butter pat measures 3.25 inches square and has a sponged border like Bennington Pottery stoneware and a stenciled barn design in the center.

The butter pat or butter dish is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.  

Butter pats are being used currently as ring dishes, teabag holders and for sushi and sauces.
